I wish I could own the stage and stare down the audience like Richard Rousseau. In this performance there are stories I have heard in different contexts before, but in this package I watch Richard assemble and re-assemble the elements like they are the pieces of a puzzle he still hasn’t quite figured out yet. But he’s getting there. “The world was inside out, and for the first time it was right.” Crazy, magical figures with profound advice are a staple in Richard’s stories, and I believe they will continue to appear until Richard finally owns his place in the pantheon.
