Review of Mimi’s Last Rehearsal at the 2011 Minnesota Fringe Festival.
“Sometimes the perfect woman is the wrong woman. “At least that is what I think I scribbled down in the dark. But Mimi is wrong in the most perfect way. I would follow Rhonda Lund to the Ganges and beyond. Ben Kreilkamp makes a lovely angel, with or without his pants. The dysfunctional theatrical family is entertaining – who needs masks when you have cell phones, really? – and the litany of the lost brought some smiles, though there were a few too many inside jokes and references. Don’t go through Uptown, though – that I understood.
